My introduction to Make-up was as an aspiring model trying to emulate the London look of the late 60's in surburban Brisbane. This lead me to Sydney where in 1977 I enrolled full time in Dawn Swane's 3 year diploma course in Theatrical Arts, which incorporated hairdressing skills, onset training, prosthetics, sculpture and lifedrawing.
Thanks to some friends pushing me into modelling in Sydney, my career took a different path in the late 70's when I joined the then Gary Griffin Model Agency (later Chadwicks) & had a successful few years on the other side of the camera before heading off to London in 1981.

Based in Paris from 1982-84 I did Make-up on two short films and tested with various Photographers before returning to Sydney and focusing on my career in Make-up
